Thomas Horschig is a Senior Researcher in DNV GL’s Energy Transition Programme. He holds a Master`s degree in Management of Natural Resources from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from University of Leipzig.
Prior to joining DNV GL in January 2020, he worked at the German Biomass Research Centre, first as PhD student and later as Research Associate. Thomas has published his findings on the simulation of bioenergy markets, especially biogas and biomethane, in several scientific journals such as Applied Energy and Biomass and Bioenergy.
His current focus at DNV GL is on the modelling of the dynamics of the global energy transition towards a low carbon future. Besides, he is supporting the Ocean Space Programme with conceptual and modelling insights.
