The app demonstrates how a DNV model for pipeline lateral buckling may be provided in a way that allows user interactivity to support decision making. Based on a DNV Ghosted database of finite element analyses and a problem specific Bayesian network the user may perform "what if" analysis directly in the web browser - in real time - by adjusting operational parameters, and getting the responses that will speed up and simplify decision making.
