The objective of this document is to provide a service specification (SE) for the qualification and conformity assessment of manufacturers of special materials in accordance with NORSOK M-650 and ISO 17782.
This SE describes services provided by DNV as a qualifying company related to:
- the qualification of manufacturers of special materials, as specified in NORSOK M-650
- conformity assessments of manufacturers of special materials, as specified in ISO 17782.
The SE establishes procedural requirements for obtaining and retaining DNV deliverables and certificates. It specifies the obligations of the customer as well as DNV's service obligations to the customer.
