Alexandros is a very large crude oil carrier (VLCCs), constructed at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. It was delivered in October 2022 with DNV’s modernized class notation for oil tankers and an environmentally friendly design. This includes a scrubber system to fulfil SOx requirements and certification to comply with the NOx emissions requirements of MARPOL Tier III. Among other features, this vessel meets high standards of navigation bridge design and has single point mooring (SPM) operational ability.
