DNV is delighted to be a sponsor of the 2021 API (American Petroleum Institute) Pipeline, Control Room and Cybernetics Conference, held virtually over April 20 – May 20, 2021. This year’s event will focuses on asset integrity, control room automation, stakeholder engagement and a myriad of other topics and will provide continuing education via a virtual format.
Mr. Boris Rodriguez, Senior Pipeline Engineer – DNV will be presenting his paper “Getting the most out of Leak Detection models in the Control Room.” Leak Detection models can be very overwhelming in terms of the
amount data that can be presented in the Control Room. This presentation will discuss the evolution of how data from a real-time leak detection model is mined, processed, and presented to augment the Control Room
operators’ ability to operate the pipeline. Mr. Rodriquez is a Senior Pipeline Engineer at DNV, with more than 10 years of engineering experience. He has implemented and deployed several Leak Detection and Operator
Training Systems using DNV software solutions for numerous oil & gas pipeline companies throughout the Americas region.
