Lea-Valeska Giebel is a seasoned moderator with a focus on subjects of the energy and mobility transition. Besides that she also likes to engage in debates on female leadership, party policy as well as EU matters and democracy. In her professional career she has been working for the Danish Economic Ministry, an environmental NGO and the past 8 years for the global independent technical assurance company DNV as Public Policy Advisor and Lobbyist for Brussels and Berlin. Moreover, she was a member of the environmental committee of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce engaging inter alia in bringing forward Hamburg‘s update of the City’s climate plan. She holds a double master degree in public administration as well as a European Policy Analysis by the European Commission. Her studies and work led to long-term stays in New Zealand, Brussels, Copenhagen, Ljubljana and Oslo. She is fluent in French, English and Danish. Lea-Valeska also teaches at the Quadriga University on Public Affairs.
