DNV AT COP26
The COP26 event is split into two activity zones: Blue and Green.
The Blue zone (Scottish Events Campus - SEC) is for related organizations, national delegations, media, or non-profit organizations registered with the UN. They will be participating and coordinating the official talks on the global response to the climate crisis. As a partner of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) Coalition at COP26, DNV will be present in the Blue Zone at the GWEC booth in Hall 5. We will also be active at the Nordic Pavilion in cooperation with Nordic Energy Research.
The Green zone (Glasgow Science Centre) is open to public. This space will offer a wide range of events including workshops, talks, art exhibitions and musical performances.
DNV will speak at numerous side events during COP26: these are organized by both GWEC and the Energy Indusrtries Council (EIC) with which DNV has also partnered for COP26. In addition, DNV is a platinum sponsor of the Future of Shipping event organized by the International Chamber of Shipping taking place at the University of Strathclyde campus.
