  • Value 2 will be assigned to a certificate according to the “Person Standard” specifications of the Norwegian government.
  • Value 3 will be assigned if the issuer of the certificate is registered according to the Norwegian self-declaration system for “Person Standard”.
  • Value 4 will be assigned to “Virksomhetssertifikater” (corporate certificates) according to the specifications of the Norwegian government; which shall be of comparable quality to qualified certificates, but which cannot be qualified since they are not issued to persons.
  • Value 4 will also be used for qualified certificates where the issuer is not registered according to the Norwegian self-declaration system for “Person Høyt” (person high).
  • Value 5 will be assigned to all qualified certificates where the issuer is registered according to the self-declaration system for “Person Høyt”.
  • Value 6 is at present not applicable in Norway since no certificate issuers provide smart cards certified according to CWA 14169.
