  • Graduated in structural engineering from the Norwegian Technical University (NTNU) , Division of Civil Engineering in 1984
  • PhD, NTNU, Division of Marine Technology, in 1991
  • Working experience within research and consultancy related to design and analysis of offshore structures
  • Main field of competence is analysis of slender marine structures (e.g. risers, mooring systems, umbilicals etc.), analysis of floating production systems (ship, spar etc.), computer program development (e.g. static and dynamic FE codes) as well as statistical analysis of time dependent problems.
