Day 1 - Alignment & Frameworks
We will discuss the importance of interaction between business, IT strategy and the work floor. Delegates gain insight into the role of architectural frameworks and the architectural process in the light of business and IT alignment.
Day 2 - Stakeholders & Requirements
We will discuss IEEE 1471 and examine the relationships between architecture, stakeholders and their concerns, business goals and requirements. We will show how to analyse and prioritize stakeholders non-functional requirements.
Day 3 - Architecture & Value Creation
What are the financial responsibilities of an IT-architect? What is the theory behind value creation? What methods of assessing value creation are there and what problems do we encounter?
Day 4 - Process & Skills
On this day we will go deeper into the architectural processes at the enterprise and project levels. We will talk about the relationship between architecture, project management en software development. We will show how the role of the architect is that of an intermediary between project manager, general manager, and architecture principles at an enterprise level.

The delegate understands the role of architecture frameworks and the architecture process as a means for alignment of business and IT and:
