Knowledge+Management+Essentials

Common sense says that learning from successes and failures, sharing knowledge and smart application of lessons learned from the past will lead to better results. Excellent organisations are well aware of this and apply this common sense every day.

Putting support measures in place that address knowledge management issues is essential. Ignoring those measures has a high price. Competing rather than collaborating departments, culture differences, lack of communication tools and places to meet, daily work pressure or stubbornness can get in the way.

Focus
The workshop is focused on the fundamental issue of making the business case for knowledge management within one's own organisation. Participants are led through a series of worksheets beginning with planning a knowledge management strategy. The exchange of thoughts and ideas throughout provides interesting debate and lively discussion.

Who should attend?
Anybody with responsibility for managing knowledge in public sector organisations should attend.
