COURSE: Topside and jacket design analysis using GeniE

This 3 day course introduces the participants to the new and integrated design tool for structural and equipment modelling, analysis and postprocessing. The course consists of lectures and practical exercises. In addition the participants will learn how GeniE interacts with other Sesam program modules like Wajac, Sestra and Framework.

• Introduction and main features
• Concept structure modelling
• Equipment modelling and loads
• Do analysis and check results
• Hydrodynamic analysis
• Pile and soil analysis
• Code checking
• GeniE in the Sesam system

Prerequisite:
No previous experience in the use of Sesam is required. However, basic knowledge in FE analysis is recommended.
