COURSE: Sesam hydrostatic analysis (HydroD)

This 1 day course introduces the participants to the Sesam programs for hydrostatic analysis, HydroD. The course consists of lectures and practical excercises. The focus is on program use rather than theory.

The course covers hydrostatic and stability analysis of floating structures. Focus is on graphic modelling of the hydrostatic data and reporting of results. Advanced graphical visualisation of analysis results is also covered.

• Hydrostatic analysis
• Ballasting of tanks
• Computation of wind heeling moment
• Code-checking of stability results
• Presentation of results

Prerequisite:
Some knowledge in hydrostatic analysis and basic knowledge in Sesam is required.
