The systems support a distributed work process where inspection and follow up is done at separate sites but where the information is kept updated and available from a central database.
Sesam Structure Integrity allows for outsourcing of the asset integrity management to other parties while addressing the need for auditing and management control by the owner or operator. The solution can be configured locally for the field and nearby onshore support organisation or as a global system calling on resources from globally distributed organisations.

The life cycle data model enables efficient configuration of the structures of floating and fixed offshore installations, topside structures and moorings. Inspection status, maintenance history and statistics are available from a single web based desktop solution. The system may be accessed anytime and anywhere through the local area network or secure Internet access. Data transfer is performed through cable or satellite communication.
The system allows for loose or tight integration to other corporate systems like ERP systems or other planned maintenance systems.
Life-cycle data may be accessed through data numeric views or viewed on 3D models of the structures. The user can navigate visually in the 3D model and thus quickly spot objects requiring prompt attention by observing the colour coding of critical areas.
