DeepC
Designed to predict the extreme response and fatigue damage to mooring and riser systems under wave, wind, and current loading conditions, DeepC automatically takes the coupling effect and other important non-linearities into account.
DeepC version 4.0-02 enables our users to carry out riser design including fatigue and code checking according to relevant standards from ISO and DNV. This includes a regular wave approach in addition to the previous irregular wave functionality.
GeniE
GeniE relieves the end user of tedious, unnecessary work by letting the concept model’s powerful geometric kernel automatically maintain connections governed by engineering decisions, and by implementing special engineering tasks such as joint design and equipment loading.
GeniE version 4.0-21 is much more powerful when it comes to graphic handling and supporting the new code checks according to API/LRFD and the ISO standards for beams, as well as plate code checks according to the Common Structural Rules (CSR) for bulk carriers. Multiple analysis including result processing and code checks may also be carried out – there are significant savings from reduced modelling and results handling. In addition, the report includes more information used for your design – this means fewer sources to relate to when making design decisions.
HydroD
HydroD helps naval architects and engineers become more productive, while at the same time achieving a higher degree of quality when performing hydrodynamic analysis in the frequency domain (Wadam) or with forward speed (Wasim). HydroD version 4.0-10 allows our users to do hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis both in frequency and time domain from the same program. HydroD uses our programs Wadam and Wasim to do the computations, while other operations such as graphical modelling are carried out from HydroD. Multi-body analysis can also be carried out from HydroD in the frequency domain.
Brix Explorer
Brix Explorer is the main entrance to the Sesam suite of programs. This leadingedge technology will enable you to build on the pre-defined templates included in Sesam to create your own customised workflows, integrating your own best engineering practice.
Brix Explorer configured for Sesam (version 3.0-15) allows Sesam users to include non-DNV Software applications in their workflows, and an improved import and export functionality. This will ease your work to create and store revisions of a project – non-related analysis data such as drawings and other documents may
also be part of a revision set. This version can also be customised to support multiuser and concurrent usage. In addition, there are new releases of Riflex, Simo, Xtract, Wadam, Sestra, Framework, Stofat, Postresp, Usfos and Installjac. Several of these are used directly by DeepC, GeniE and HydroD to improve their analysis capabilities.
