The largest shipyard in China, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard (SWS), has purchased the Torsional Vibration and Shaft Alignment modules from our Nauticus Machinery suite of software products.

Zhang Zhi Ping, DNV Software Sales Manager in Region Greater China

With the increasing demand for new production at shipyards, the ability to predict the shafting behaviours in the early design stage of a ship is increasingly crucial. Instead of relying on diesel-engine manufacturers with heavy workloads, a growing number of Chinese shipyards are building up their own shafting design knowledge and capabilities.
