With the recent purchase of the Sesam package by Ningbo University in China, DNV Software contributes to the increasing boom in the Chinese marine and offshore industries.

During the past twelve months, while DNV Software has been represented in Shanghai, more and more Chinese universities together with the existing customers Shanghai Jiaotong University and Wuhan University of Technology have decided on DNV Software solutions. This is a result of an active and exciting process and the list now includes:

• Jiangsu University of Technology purchased Nauticus Hull Wave Load and Sesam Packages in July 2005
• Harbin Engineering University purchased Sesam in September 2005
• Ocean University of China purchased Sesam in December 2005
• Harbin Engineering University purchased Nauticus Hull Wave Load Package in February 2006
• Ningbo University purchased Sesam in March 2006

With increasing demand from the Chinese marine and offshore industries, more and more research projects are carried out by universities, who are a unique origin and main source of technical personnel with domain knowledge and professional skills.
