We are pleased to announce the recent release of a new and improved version of Orbit Onshore. The new release, English version 2.4.19 and French version 2.5.6, was completed in July 2005. This release contains updates to a number of areas, particularly:

  • Improved calculation of remaining life and use of remaining life for inspection
    planning
  • Greater flexibility in the choice of assessment pressure
  • Initial implementation of frequency modifying factors

These updates will enable you to meet regulatory requirements using Orbit Onshore, especially in The Netherlands and France. More details of the updates included in this release can be found in the release notes accompanying the software.

This new release is available to all customers with valid maintenance contracts.
