Splice - soil and pile structure interaction analysis for design of safe and solid foundations

Splice is a program for non-linear soil-pile analysis. In combination with Sestra the soil-pile-structure interaction problem of piled structures may be solved.

Splice solves the displacements at the pile-structure interface points for a linear elastic superstructure modelled with non-linear pile foundations.

Splice works in combination with GeniE, Presel, Wajac, Sestra and Framework where the piles, soil and environment are defined in GeniE. Wajac computes the wind and wave loads while Presel is used to create real loadcases for use in the non-linear pile-soil analysis. Sestra calculates displacements and stresses that are used when evaluating the results in Framework.

The workflow process is built into Brix Explorer for Sesam meaning that the whole non-linear pile-soil analysis is run with no manual input other than clicking options in the Brix Explorer for Sesam.

All types of linear structures, which reside on piles, with all kinds of static loads may be analysed using the Sesam programs Sestra and Splice.
