Orbit Offshore is a software tool that uses DNV's Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) technique to help you optimise your inspection management programme. DNV's RBI technique, as described in DNV RP-G 101 “Recommended Practice for Risk-Based Inspection of Topsides Static Mechanical Equipment”, is used to calculate the risk due to corrosion, erosion and cracking for pressure equipment in a marine environment.
