The Nauticus Machinery package for Generator sets is intended for marine diesel engine powered generator sets.
The torsional vibration software includes some typical loading profiles which are relevant for generator sets. It provides a fast and efficient method to quickly analyse and document the generator set with respect to vibrations.
The generator set package currently consists of the following MODULES:
Load carrying capacity for shafts in marine propulsion plants or auxiliaries onboard ships or mobile offshore units. Life-cycle calculations of shafts based on basic or simplified methods.
Calculation of safety against fatigue failure in diesel engine crankshafts and safety against slippage for semi built crankshafts. Simple and effective fatigue analysis according to DNV and CIMAC/IACS standards.
