a software package that offers powerful programs for rule checking and structural analysis according to the DNV Rules for High Speed and Light Craft.

Rule check software for HSLC
Section Scantlings
Section Scantlings is used for designing ship cross-sections and transverse bulkheads. The program is used for global strength assessment as well as calculation of section properties and shear flow distribution for vertical force, horizontal force and torsional moment. Section Scantlings supports all mono-hull and catamaran designs including non-symmetrical cross sections.
Rule Check XL
Rule Check XL is a number of spreadsheet solutions that provide all features needed to carry out a large number of rule checks and hull analyses according to the DNV Rules.
Cross Sections
Cross Sections is a generic program for calculation of cross sectional properties for any geometrical structure. Cross sections ranging from general stiffener profiles to complete ship hull cross sections can be modelled. Cross Sections calculates relevant cross section data such as area, centre of gravity position, moments of inertia, section modulus, etc. Cross Sections is ideal for establishing properties for extruded profiles of complex shape.
HSLC Extended
The HSLC package is optionally offered in an extended version including Nauticus 3D Beam. This is a user friendly three-dimensional beam element analysis program. 3D Beam is ideal for analysis of web frames, foundations, deck grillages and other structural elements where beam analysis is applicable.
