It is the Operators’ responsibility to ensure that offshore load bearing structures are suitable for their intended purpose and that they are able to monitor the condition in a systematic manner. Many standards provide input and requirements related to this, e.g. Norsok N005/N006, ISO 19902/19904 and API RP 2SIM.
