DNV Sofware is pleased to announce that a new version of Sestra, version 8.3-05, was released 25 January 2008.

With this new version it is possible for users of GeniE version 3.5-20 to make a GeniE report containing Sestra load sums and reaction forces by installing the new version of Sestra.

This version of Sestra also includes an update of the Lanczos eigenvalue solver which detects more eigenvalues and is more robust when dense or multiple eigenvalues are encountered.
