The launch of DNV Software's new DeepC Riser Analysis Package, based upon MARINTEK's Riflex software, is taking place during OTC in Houston next week. To mark the event we will be hosting a riser seminar at DNV's Houston office on 6 May.

A proven solution
DeepC is already a proven solution, with the mooring and riser systems of many recently installed platforms having been designed or verified using the software. The computational methods used in DeepC have been extensively validated against experimental results, qualitative validations and case studies.

Benefits
DeepC has been designed to predict the extreme response and fatigue damage to mooring and riser systems under wave, wind, and current loading conditions automatically taking the coupling effect and other important non-linearities into account. It is also possible to do traditional riser design analysis (un-coupled), marine operations as well as mooring analysis in the frequency domain.
