Recently the DNV Software Conferences were held in Kobe and Busan, 6-7 and 13-14 November respectively. The latest news from the Nauticus, Sesam and Safeti suite of products were covered along with many interesting presentations given by our users. Attracting more than 60 attendees in Japan and 150 in Korea, both conferences were good places to share knowledge and meet industry peers. We would like to thank all the participants for attending and making these events such a success.
This year the conferences in Kobe and Busan were extended into two days. The first day covering presentations by DNV Software and our users, while the second day was used for more in-depth presentations and hands-on training sessions. On both days the program was organised in parallel tracks covering Ship Hull Design, Ship Machinery Design, Offshore Engineering, Process Plant Risk Assessment and Process Plant Inspection & Operation.
In the keynote Elling Rishoff, Managing Director DNV Software, outlined the DNV Software strategy and our industry positions. Special focus was given on our position towards the shipbuilding industry and to DNV’s environmental involvement.

During the parallel sessions the Product Managers presented latest news, status and future plans for the various software products. In addition we had many interesting presentations and case studies given by our users.
