Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard in China
With the increasing demand of new production at the shipyards, it is getting more cruical to be able to predict the shafting behaviours in the early design stage of a ship. Instead of having to rely on diesel engine manufacturers, with heavy workloads, more and more Chinese shipyards are building up their own shafting design knowledge and capabilities.
"Nauticus Machinery has rapidly become the market leading software solution for strength assessment of rotating machinery components and systems. Major diesel engine manufacturers in China are utilizing the benefits of Nauticus Machinery software in their daily design and productions" says Zhang Zhi Ping, DNV Software's Sales Manager in Region Greater China.
"We are happy to see that SWS now is joining the large Nauticus Machinery software family. With this state-of-the-art software solution and comprehensive techincal support, we are able to contribute much more to the Chinese shipbuilding industry"
