The new version of Nauticus Hull June 2007 is ready for download and will be distributed during the next weeks.

The Nauticus finite element analysis template for bulk carriers using GeniE is setting a new reference standard for direct strength calculations of hull structures. The concept technology of GeniE opens possibilities far beyond the traditional finite element concept. Through concept technology information on material properties, compartments, loads and corrosion additions are incorporated in the model and from the basic model these data can be used to generate finite element models capacity models, perform rule check analyses and automatic report generation.

In the present release, generation of compartments, loads, corrosion additions and subsets of structural members are included and through the next releases the potential in the concept technology will be further developed with integrated modules for generation of local models, rule checks and reports.

The file handling system is also improved, and through the Brix Explorer jobs can now be accessed by multiple users. Later this fall a client-server version of the Brix Explorer for Nauticus Hull will be made available for testing; a solution that has already been demanded by some of our major customers.
