Dear DNV Software user,
We are pleased to invite you to the DNV Software Safeti Conference to be held in Rio de Janeiro and scheduled for 9th December 2008. The meeting is open to all DNV Software customers and will focus predominantly on the Phast application for Consequence and Risk calculations. We will also present the current status of the next generation architecture for the complete Safeti product suite.

This meeting provides us with the opportunity to receive feedback from you about your use of the software and gather your needs for future releases. We hope you will be able to come along to learn more about recent developments, our plans for the future and provide feedback on your application of the software and future needs.

During the conference you will find out more about advances in functionality and modelling within the software. Some of the topics to be included are improvements to Phast Risk for modelling explosion risks, improvements to reporting and GIS components and benefits from the next generation artchitecture. We will also speak more specifically about new features in Phast 6.54 due for completion in late Summer 2008 and the progress on Phast 6.6 including the Blast extension for explosion risk modelling using the Multi-Energy and Baker-Strehlow models.

User presentations:
Presentations by users which focus on practical or innovative applications of our software are always very popular at the User Conferences and, as usual, we are keen to include a number of these at each conference we host. We would like to encourage you to submit your own suggestions for applications you would like to present which you think may be of interest to others. As an incentive to encourage external presenters we will cover the expenses of any delegate who is invited to give a presentation at the conference. We sincerely hope that you are able to attend this meeting, so please sign up online.

The meeting will start at 9:00 am, with registration and coffee/refreshments from 8:30 onwards.
