From Wajac v6.1-01 users have a new option to calculate wave kinematics directly during the load calculation instead of generating wave kinematics based on a 3D grid - this is typically applicable when running a short term sea state analysis. The user can select which option to use.

• For each end node of a member, wave kinematics at current time step will be estimated. The wave kinematics at the load calculation points (LCP) in the middle of the current member will be interpolated from those at the ends of the current member
• For deterministic and frequency domain analysis the results are identical with the previous Wajac version. For irregular time sea states we see that the computed loads are slightly higher - this is caused by a more precise algorithm as well as that the newest version of Wajac can handle many more time steps (262 144 time steps) than in the previous version (8 192 time steps). The time steps can thus be much smaller to represent the same sea state.
  

For installation you copy the executable version of Wajac to your Sesam home directory, default directory is c:\program files\dnvs\sesam\bin. Wajac requires the latest version of Intel Fortran dll files - if these are not installed from before, please copy the dll files that is bundeled with the Wajac installation files to the same bin-directory.
