Hamburg: Almost every member of the shipping cluster in Hamburg has experienced major growth over the past few years and the same is true for DNV. To be able to contribute and ensure safe operations in the years to come too, DNV has moved to new premises in the port of Hamburg.

Jörg Beiler, DNV Maritime’s Regional Manager for Northern Europe explains: “DNV has experienced tremendous growth in Germany over the past few years. We simply had to find some more space in order to serve our customers properly. We are happy to have moved into modern and well located offices right in the centre of the Hamburg shipping scene.”
DNV celebrated this move today by inviting almost 200 representatives of ship yards, ship owners, suppliers, banks, authorities and the press.
“With even more technical expertise as well as the newly established DNV Training Academy, we are now better prepared than ever to meet the high expectations of our German customers,” says a proud regional manager, Jörg Beiler.
DNV’s Hamburg office is the DNV Maritime regional office for Northern Europe and Africa. At the year-end 2007, DNV had a 15% share of the German market, making it the second-largest class society in Germany, after Germanischer Lloyd.
