All those newbuildings will be classed by DNV, a leading class society in tanker vessels. Upon completion of vessels construction, they will receive the class notation +1A1 Tanker for Oil, ESP, ECO, Tmon.

Those vessels together with the previously ordered bunker fleet will bring the total fleet of Aegean to 40 double hull bunkering tankers. Aegean’s fleet of bunker supply vessels will thus be one of the youngest and the largest fleet in its segment.

The above vessels together with all other vessels secured from Greek owners this year, will amount to 100 vessels ordered to DNV class.
