The DNV offices in Houston and La Porte, Texas, are now back in business.

The DNV offices in Houston, TX and La Porte, TX were impacted by the widespread electrical power outage throughout Houston due to Hurricane Ike.
The present status of these offices is:
DNV Houston has power restored and was fully operational, and partially manned, at noon on 18 September. The DNV Houston office will be fully manned and operational by Friday, 19 September at 0800.
DNV La Porte (Veritas Petroleum Services) has single phase power restored and the office is manned with a skeleton crew. An emergency generator has been installed and is expected to be in service on Friday, 19 September. Until full 3 phase power from either an emergency generator or the grid is fully restored, fuel testing samples will be promptly forwarded to other DNV VPS laboratories for testing.
