The third consecutive World Business Forum brought world leaders in management to Milan, exploring the latest trends and sharing their knowledge and insight.

The World Business Forum (WBF) took place on 26 and 27 October and is a unique event that once a year draw more than 2000 thinkers and decision makers. Over 85% of the participants are senior executives defined as managing directors, presidents, business owners or general managers.
During the two days, outstanding speakers such as Robert Kaplan, Tom Peters, Madeleine Albright, Ken Blanchard, Malcolm Gladwell, Rudy Giuliani and Lord Chris Patten shared their experiences and covered many topics relevant to good Business Management practices.

A DNV event with world leaders in strategy
DNV organised an exclusive lunch for a selection of customers with Prof. Robert Kaplan, the inventor of the Balanced Scorecard, and Lord Chris Patten, the last Governor of Hong Kong as guests of honour.
Mr. Kaplan gave a speech, highlighting the importance of including goals related to Enterprise Risk Management issues and Sustainability goals as a part of the Balanced Scorecard approach. Lord Chris Patten gave his views on the developments in Asia during a Q&A session.
The World Business Forum
The World Business Forum works with top leaders in the world and is an international symposium that gathers the business community in seven cities during the year: Chicago, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, New York, Mexico City and San Paolo. Issues addressed cover three dimensions: political, academic and practical.
DNV participates in WBF with the aim to brand DNV among business executives and managers from industry and government.
