Evacuated employees are returning slowly but surely to the Houston area, and the DNV office in Houston is open for business.

All DNV employees in the Houston area are accounted for and safe, and stable electrical power has been restored to the DNV office building at 16340 Park Ten Place in Houston.
DNV Petroleum Services (DNVPS)’ lab in LaPorte has been assessed and there was no flooding and no apparent damage to the facility, but the building was without electrical power. At present, the lab is not operational.
There are some 200 employees at the Houston office, and all have been contacted after the hurricane passed.
A slow return along congested roads
The Mayor of Houston have requested a return in stages to the Houston area, with the North West quadrant of the Houston metro area returning Sunday; the South West quadrant returning on Monday and the North East quadrant returning on Tuesday. The SE quadrant, including LaPorte and Galveston, are pending further assessment. All schools in the Houston area are closed through Tuesday; several school districts are closed through Wednesday.
