Designed to assess an eBusiness Management System, the EBtrust version 2.0 standard replaces the previous EBtrust model.

To meet the demanding needs of the eBusiness market, DNV has developed an eBusiness standard, drawing from its long experience of management systems. Predecessors to this EBtrust standard are versions 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 of the EBtrust model.

Makes certification possible
With EBtrust approved as a standard, organisations can now have their eBusiness Management System certified by DNV. Certification gives the organisation the right to display the EBtrust mark on their website. This trust mark communicates the scope, purpose and intent of the certification, instilling trust and confidence in the eBusiness. Companies assessed according to previous versions have the opportunity to move to the new standard at their next periodical assessment, for example.

Compatible and flexible
The standard is written to be compatible with other management system standards, such as the ISO 9001 quality standard, the ISO 14001 environmental standard, and the information security standard BS 7799.
