As one of the sponsors, DNV will attend the Downstream Asia Roundtable 2008 in Kuala Lumpur November 25-27, 2008.

The Downstream Asia Roundtable 2008 will combine interactive roundtable discussions, high-level formal presentations, and panel debates to examine all of the key issues and challenges currently facing the Asian and Pacific refining and petrochemical industries.

On Thursday, November 27 (session 5 at 09.10) Carlo Buccisano, Principal Consultant, Risk Management Solutions, London will present the paper 'Performance Forecasting as decision support tool in the downstream industry'. The paper highlights the key aspects of this methodology and, through some examples, describes the key benefits.

Also on Thursday, November 27 (session 6 at 14.00) Graham Bennett, Director, DNV Energy Europe and North Africa, will chair a roundtable discussion onprocess safety management. The roundtable discussion provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and information with a panel of senior refining and petrochemical executives on key issues affecting the Asian downstream sector.
