The VA service is the first example of an on-line trust service from DNV. DNV Research and Innovation provides essential competence to the VA area, in particular related to the long-term development of a portfolio consisting of trust services using VA as a basis.

DNV as a thirds party manages the process of verifying digital signatures and validating accompanying digital identity (eID) certificates. By engaging DNV as a Validation Authority, receivers of digitally signed documents will get a “one stop shopping” partner who provides
