The DNV Board of Directors consists of a chairman and nine members. Five of these are selected from different business sectors, while four are elected among the employees.

The principles relating to the Council’s balance of influence also apply to the DNV Board. Members are selected from the different groups served by DNV so that no group has a majority.

Compensation Committee
An advisory Compensation Committee made up of Board members defines and evaluates the employment terms for the CEO and the managers reporting to him. The Committee also conducts performance reviews and assessments of the key performance indicators for the CEO and senior managers.
