In DNV, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), focuses on the need to align corporate goals with those of society. With the purpose of safeguarding life, property and the environment, DNV is committed to its clients’ work towards sustainable products and systems. In addition to these external services, DNV’s own CSR performance is a corporate priority area. This work is headed by DNV Corporate Relations and is supported by a CSR Board with representatives from different parts of the organisation.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of DNV's management system and business culture.
DNV has designed a governance model which explicitly addresses business ethics and guides the employees in their daily operations on CSR issues.
Communication and transparency are both vital for the success of CSR, and measures are taken to improve DNV’s current stakeholder dialogues and communication, as well as to encourage greater transparency on CSR-related issues.
