Training for the energy industry
Whether you are a new or an experienced engineer or manager, our technical training courses offer a variety of levels to help you be productive in your work. Introductory and expert level courses as well as customer specific on-site training are offered upon request.
The courses may be held at DNV's offices worldwide or at your own site. Our courses are lead by managers and lead engineers responsible for development of the relevant DNV offshore standards and recommended practises and are designed and delivered in accordance with the latest educational methods.
Pipeline training
DNV has developed a new pipeline training programme covering all aspects of pipeline technology from concept to operation.
Subsea training
The courses are founded on the new Recommended Practices covering aspects of subsea technology from the concept stage to operation.
Environmental conditions & loads - 1 day
This course provides an introduction to DNV-RP-C205 and will let the participants familiarise themselves with the necessary steps in the load assessment of marine structures.
Materials technology for offshore oil & gas installations - 2 days
An introduction to materials technology applied in the oil and gas offshore industry will be given in this course.
Qualification of new technology - 1 day
”The process of providing the evidence that the technology will function reliably within specified limits”.
Riser and umbilical analysis - 3 days
This course will give the participants a broad overview of the essential elements involved in riser design.
