Statutory certificate confirming that the vessel complies with the IMO International Convention on Tonnage Measurements of ships (ITC69).
ITC69 is a flag state requirement for registration and is used for port taxation.
The certificate is, due to the Convention, a statutory certificate, and is a prerequisite for international trade.
A statutory certificate issued by DNV GL is a document that has a good reputation in the industry. In the port state control statistics from the Paris MoU 2007, DNV achieved the top ranking among the classification societies.
This statutory certificate has no expiry date except when alterations / conversions are carried out or re-issuance is required by the flag state in connection with a change of flag. DNV GL carries out the required calculations and surveys and issues the ITC69 to customers according to requirements.
The owner will receive an ITC69 before delivery and the certificate will be updated if a conversion is carried out.
