Why should I choose DNV to be my Recognised Organisation (RO)?

In DNV we have people with a wide range of experiences, including development, content and intent of the Maritime Labour Convention. The former Norwegian representative to the ILO on maritime affairs and member of the steering committee for the development of the Convention (the officers' group), is now heading the work at DNV, and we also have people with a wide variety of experiences from risk evaluations, operations of ships, ISM and other statutory work involved in our services.

We aim at providing an effective one stop shop for all our customer's inspection and certification needs. In order to do this, we will have professional inspectors who will be available in ports worldwide. In order to provide the best possible services, our inspectors will have gone through an extensive training and qualification scheme.

As for ISM and ISPS, we assume that DNV will be authorised for MLC by all major Maritime Flag Administrations.
