What should I do if I want to use DNV as RSO instead of my present RSO?

If you want to change to DNV as your Recognised Security Organisation, please check in the Flag State authorisation table that DNV is authorised as RSO for the applicable flag. Then contact your local DNV Company Service Manager (CSM). If such person is not known, the local DNV office should be contacted. See DNV worldwide directory.

The CSM will co-ordinate with you all information required, like ship id., present ISSC status, flag, RSO etc. This will be forwarded to DNV Head Office, who will co-ordinate with your present RSO all transfer tasks, in accordance with an agreed IACS procedure.
