In connection with PSC Concentrated Inspection Campaign on tanker damage stability, ships having Emergency Response Service (ERS) with DNV can receive immediate support for confirmation of damage stability compliance.

This applies to loading conditions not included in the Stability Information Booklet or outside the scope of the loading computer.

Support is provided via extended service run by DNV’s Stability section. The extended service is available from 1st September until 30th November 2010. This service is outside of the yearly ERS subscription fee and will be invoiced separately. Requests must be sent in writing and confirmed by use of Short Form Agreement prepared by DNV.

Vessels enrolled into DNV's ERS, but not classed by DNV, can also utilise the extended service.
