Our services are based on our “Rules for Certification of Lifting Appliances”, but upon request other regulations may be covered. DNV’s own certification of the crane is mandatory if lifting appliances shall be included in our class and covered by our class notations CRANE or Crane Vessel.
We offer general assistance regarding information about flag state/port state requirement and we will of course assist you with information and interpretations of DNV`s Rules for Certification of Lifting Appliances.
