DNV Exchange Basic is our web-based entry–level service providing secure access to your class survey, certificate and general DNV reference information. It is freely available to managers and owners of all DNV classed vessels as well as flag states.

Features:

  • Quick - Reports detailing Certificates, Periodical Surveys, Conditions of Class, Memos to Owner, Retroactive requirements, Continuous Machinery and Continuous Hull Surveys may be viewed and printed at any time. Class status report can also be set up as email subscription. You may also request surveys on-line.

  • Easy - Red, Yellow and Green Lamps indicate Class Status at a glance. Soon overdue items Graphical survey scheduling tool enables you to efficiently plan DNV attendance within survey time windows.

  • Secure - With DNV Exchange, every user organisation get an administrator account that allow you to create and delete user accounts within your company. You may also allow other parties to access the information on one or more of your vessels.

  • DNV Rules - DNV Rules for Ships and High Speed Lightcraft are available for easy search on-line. You may also download the various sections as pdf documents. DNV Exchange Member
DNV Exchange Member addresses the need for operators who wish to have a higher and more pro-active class and technical information management role from DNV. Additional vessel information, reports and tools are provided. This subscription enables additional services and content to be provided, depending on your needs.

Features:

  • Comprehensive - All the features of DNV Exchange Basic are provided, plus additional services and options as outlined below.

  • Scanned vessel certificates - With DNV Exchange Member, scanned vessel certificates issued by DNV are provided for you electronically, for your convenient access and storage.

  • Vessel Documentation - Additional documentation is provided for you electronically:

    • Survey Planning documents,

    • Executive Hull Summary files,

    • Other reports from commissioned services from DNV.

Additional services

  • DNV Exchange Offline - class status information with same DNV Exchange look, whether online, onboard or travelling. Offline information maybe updated automatically when you need it, either via an email subscription or manually from DNV Exchange. What's more, we provide the information in XML format so that you can easily import the data into other programs as found appropriate.

  • Vessel Drawings - you may subscribe to a package of your vessel’s drawings, which will be produced from DNV’s archives and made available to you electronically. You are then able to have drawings available instantly without worrying about the paper copies, as well as being able to annotate and incorporate drawing content into other documents, for example your docking, repair or conversion specifications.   • Owners Page - a facility for you to supplement the class and statutory status from DNV with other vessel certificates, inspections, audits etc that you wish to monitor. Resulting due dates etc are able to be followed up using the same planning and reports tools as is used for class status. Your data may be stored locally using the PC product or on the DNV Exchange Web, and easily shared with your vessels and offices.

How to get access - Managers automatically get an administrative username so that they can create and/or modify their own users. Owners and flag authorities need to contact their local DNV station to obtain an administrative user.
