Class notation for heavy loaded cargo decks

Purpose

To give owners the opportunity to purpose build the ship to a specified design cargo load according to the owners needs and intended cargo.

Benefits

The notation provides:

• the opportunity to purpose build the ship for a specified cargo trade

• the opportunity to load more and heavier cargo

• increased cargo flexibility

Features

This class notation denotes that the ship has been built with deck(s) designed for cargo loads that exceed the standard design loads.

The design cargo load in t/m² will be started for each individual cargo space in the Appendix to the Classification Certificate.
