To ensure that the cranes covered by the notation comply with the ILO Convention No. 152, and are accepted in all ports and by all flag states for self loading and unloading.
To receive the notation, at least one of the cranes on board must be product certified by DNV.
DNV's CG2, crane product certificate, is recognised throughout the world as documentation of the highest crane quality.

Survey of installation of the crane on the support/fundament /pedestal
Load and functional testing
In order to ensure that the requiered quality is maintained during your crane's service life - through both regular periodical surveys and occasional surveys necessary after repairs and modifications.
